Lothar Klute

(1946–)

  • Lothar Klute (1946–) is a German artist and maker. He trained as a blacksmith in Mailar and studied sculpture in Aachen. Klute produced a number of public sculptures in Berlin in the 1970s, and has a sculpture park dedicated to his work in Waldemai.

    With his wife Gisela Klute, an interior designer, he created exceptionally imaginative and elegant pieces of furniture for which he is now best known.

Cal Smith Gallery represents an exceptional collection of works by Lothar Klute, in direct collaboration with the artist.
